Rosa Lee Timm

Founder • Executive Leader • Creative Educator • ASL Innovator

Rosa Lee Timm is a deaf biracial executive leader, educator, and multidisciplinary artist whose career spans more than two decades in leadership, entrepreneurship, ASL performance, and visual storytelling. She holds a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, which informs her work at the intersection of emotional literacy, cultural identity, and accessible learning design.

Her teaching experience spans early childhood, K–12, and higher education. Rosa Lee taught ASL at the California School for the Deaf, Fremont — working closely with toddlers and elementary students — and later taught university-level ASL and musicality courses rooted in rhythm, expression, and embodied language.

As founder of Where Wonders Be, LLC, she continues to build educational tools and creative frameworks shaped by deaf ways of knowing. Poundesk reflects this mission — centering social-emotional development, intuitive visual learning, and culturally responsive materials for deaf children, families, and classrooms.

She lives in Maryland and is a mother to two teenage children — one Deaf and one a CODA — grounding her work in real family experience across the Deaf and hearing worlds.
